Venue

  • The modern Liberty Hall opened in the early 1960’s. Built by the T.G.W.U as a facility for the union. The hall itself was originally a 700 seater flat floored venue on two levels with a small proscenium stage.
  • Since its reincarnation the Liberty Hall theatre has presented pantomimes, plays, opera, comedy, films and festivals and shows from all over the world.
  • Shows from all over Ireland, both amateur and professional and many community and voluntary arts /performance groups have performed on the stage.
  • Liberty Hall is a great venue for an audience to enjoy and participate in our pantomime production at Liberty Panto.
  • Welcome to this amazing facility. Liberty Hall Theatre, which is the main auditorium, has a capacity of 411 on two levels.
  • The stalls has 317 seats and 3 wheelchair spaces whilst the balcony has 91seats.
  • All are of a modern cushioned design with a built-in flip up table in the right arm rest.
  • The rows and aisles are widely spaced with no pillars or obstructions blocking the stage view. Elevating your experience whilst having a blast.
